Licenses

Nexcom possesses many licenses, among them:

• License for fixed telephony, which authorizes the company to build, maintain and utilize fixed telephone network, and to offer a voice service with national coverage for 20 years
• License for access to voice telephone service through carrier selection
• Data transfer license
• License for provision of voice telephone service through public payphones
• Class B license for the new wireless technology point-to-multipoint, enabling the company to develop a national WiMAX network. Thus, the company already possesses an absolute competitive advantage over the other operators as this is the real last-mile access. NEXCOM can already reach end-users in short terms without depending on the cable and telephone infrastructure of other operators and can offer phone and internet services everywhere. Especially in those areas where, under normal circumstances, the distance and terrain might otherwise pose a problem.
